K.K. Western
"K.K. Western" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. It is derived from Western music, a subgenre of country music that is commonly used in Western films to convey a remote place in the "Wild West." Trivia[edit]
- "K.K. Western" playing in W. Link's house may be a reference to the song "The Hidden Village" from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which has a very similar Western tone. Incidentally, both tracks were composed by Toru Minegishi.[1]
