"Two Days Ago" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. It is a melancholic song that uses electric bass and drums, synth leads, and the Mellotron.

The track is an homage to the Beatles — the melody is primarily based on "I Am the Walrus" and the bridge from "Let It Be." The instrumentation of the aircheck version, particularly the Mellotron, is similar to "Strawberry Fields Forever." The title is a play on "Yesterday," the Japanese name even more so.

Album cover[edit]

Album cover in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

The album cover for "Two Days Ago" features three grayscale images of K.K. Slider: performing as a DJ, drinking coffee at The Roost, and playing his guitar. In New Horizons, the image of K.K. drinking coffee is flipped horizontally. The title of the song is at the top; it is centered and illegible in New Leaf, while in New Horizons, it is near the center-right and clearly reads "Two Days Ago."

The album artwork is reminiscent of With the Beatles, down to using a similar label design to Parlophone, the label that the Beatles belonged to up until 1968.
