"K.K. Groove" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is a funk-styled song with a slow tempo that incorporates saxophones. Specifically, the song appears to be derived from jazz-funk, a jazz fusion genre that combines traditional jazz riffs with more electronic funky sounds. The beginning in particular sounds similar to the song "Chameleon" by Herbie Hancock. The internal filename of the song is "Raregroove," referencing the idea of rare grooves, hard-to-find songs that are reappraised after their initial release (especially those in the genres of jazz-funk and R&B).

In New Leaf, the borders are colored blue, while in New Horizons they are red and violet instead. The New Leaf version of the album art also features red illegible text along the bottom of the image, while in New Horizons, the text is contained within a black bar so as to not cover the art, and reads "K.K.
