"K.K. Cruisin'" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. Noted for its slow tempo, whistling synth, and hip-hop beat, it appears to be based on G-funk, a subgenre of hip-hop that emerged during the early 1990s and remained popular throughout the decade.
Album cover
The album cover for "K.K. Cruisin'" features K.K. Slider, wearing funky clothing, sitting and with his legs crossed. In New Horizons, the posing was changed and K.K. wears sunglasses instead of a sleeping mask. The cover appears to take inspiration from English R&B artist Mark Morrison's 1996 album Return of the Mack. The text at bottom-left position is illegible, while in New Horizons, it reads "K.K. Cruisin'."
