"K.K. Folk" is a song by K.K. Slider based on traditional Japanese folk music. It includes exotic Dumbek, Djembe, and Japanese drum beats. K.K. Slider whistles at the beginning and a Wurlitzer as the main melody after that.

Gladys, Limberg, Sheldon, Kabuki, and Iggy have this song playing in their houses if given a stereo. In Doubutsu no Mori, Sven also plays this song in his house due to having a stereo in that game.

The album cover depicts Gaston and Goldie standing alongside K.K. Slider as they play instruments.

Trivia

  • "K.K. Folk" is based on an old Japanese style of music known as Minyou (or Min'yō). The traditional music was generally related to and sung by workers and traders in the old country of Japan.
