"K.K. Ballad" is a K.K. Slider song that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. It features an orchestra, simple 70s ballad drums, and a plinking steel drum in its melody.

The song has a distinctly different melody in Doubutsu no Mori and Doubutsu no Mori+ than in the international release of Animal Crossing.[1] The change remains in all subsequent games.
