The Festive Series (known as the Jingle Series in Animal Crossing and New Leaf) is a furniture series that first appears in Doubutsu no Mori. The Japanese name is the Christmas Series, reflecting the Japanese name for Toy Day. In Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the items in this series are household furniture that are primarily red, or red and green, in color, with white trimming. Almost all furniture, except for the Jingle Table, has a triangular red top with a white sphere at the tip, resembling a Santa hat. Many items also have mistletoe or Christmas wreaths incorporated into their designs. After the series received a redesign in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the furniture no longer resembles household furniture and is now themed after various Christmas and winter-related items, such as decorated pine trees, round Christmas tree ornaments, Christmas presents, winter outdoor house decorations, and sleighs.

As with other seasonal furniture series, the Festive Series does not appear in Animal Crossing: Wild World. With the exception of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all items' sell prices ( 1,240 Bells in New Leaf,  12,240 Bells in Animal Crossing and City Folk) reference the date of Christmas Eve in the month-year format: 12/24.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Aurora owns two items, Iggly owns two items, Boomer owns one item, Cube owns one item, Erik owns one item, Hans owns one item, Kitt owns one item, and Puck owns one item from the Festive Series. Five of these eight villagers are penguins, animals that are associated with snowy climates. Similarly, Erik resembles a reindeer, while Hans resembles a yeti, and they are also creatures associated with snowy climates. This makes seven of the eight villagers who own at least one item from the Festive Series related to snow, which is in turn usually associated with the winter season. Additionally, six out of the eight villagers who own at least one item from the Festive Series are male.

Animal Crossing: City Folk[edit]

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, the items from this series can be obtained from Jingle on Toy Day. In addition to the ten furniture items in the Festive Series in Animal Crossing: City Folk, there is the Jingle TV, which was distributed via WiiConnect24. However, it is not officially a part of the series of furniture until the next installment.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the series can be purchased from the Nooklings' store during December for 4,896 Bells each. Jingle no longer gives out pieces of the Jingle Series and instead gives the festive wreath if the player delivers all of Jingle's presents, and Jingle's pic if they deliver all of the presents correctly.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Festive Series receives a redesign that differs from its earlier incarnations. The majority of items can be obtained by crafting. The Toy Day sleigh and Toy Day stockings are given to the player by Jingle on Toy Day. The DIY recipes for this series can be obtained during the Festive Season.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons[edit]

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, most furniture from the Festive Series can be customized by either the player or Cyrus. The big festive tree, festive tree, ornament mobile, and tabletop festive tree have six available variations: Colorful, Blue, Red, Pink, Gold, and White. The giant ornament, ornament garland, ornament table lamp, and ornament tree have five available variations: Red, Green, Blue, Pink, and Purple. The gift pile has seven available variations: Red & green, Colorful, Cute, Cool, Chic, Elegant, and Natural. The holiday candle has five available variations: Red, Blue, Gold, Brown, and Pink. The illuminated present has four available variations: Yellow with red ribbon, Pink with green ribbon, Blue with yellow ribbon, and White with blue ribbon. The illuminated reindeer has five available variations: Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green, and White. The illuminated snowflakes has four available variations: White, Pink, Yellow, and Rainbow. The illuminated tree has six available variations: Colorful, Pink, Blue, Orange, White, and Rainbow. The ornament wreath has eight available variations: Blue, Gold, Silver, Green, Red, Light green, Pink, and Purple. The sleigh has four available variations: Natural, Dark brown, Red, and White.
