Labor Day is an event in the Animal Crossing series. In the first-generation games, the event's date varies based on the region of the game to coincide with different worker and labor holidays from around the world. In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Labor Day only occurs in the North American towns and is based on the United States federal holiday of the same name.
