Chuseok is an event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Animal Crossing: New Horizons that occurs in September or October.
Chuseok is the Korean celebration of the Mid-Autumn Moon, also celebrated as Tsukimi in Japan. It occurs on 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
Appearances[edit]
In New Leaf[edit]
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Chuseok occurs only in Korean towns. During the event, Isabelle appears in the event plaza and will give the player a songpyeon if spoken to.
In New Horizons[edit]
Although Chuseok does not appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a standard event, it appears as a Nook Shopping seasonal event beginning in the 1.11.0 Free Update. The songpyeon is available for purchase in Nook Shopping during the event and preceding days.
