The zen barrel is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. Its surface functions as a tabletop, allowing smaller items to be placed on top of it.
The zen barrel can be obtained from the campground for 5 MEOW Coupons or from balloons. It can also be obtained from the RVs of Boots and Tad for 3 MEOW Coupons.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Boots and Tad. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. This item also appears in the RVs of Boots and Tad.
