The stack of books is a customizable furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. If this item is placed on the ground however, it is penalized by the Happy Home Academy by 1 point per each item.

The stack of books can be obtained from the RVs of Dobie, Blathers, Pascal, and Jacob for  3 MEOW Coupons. The item's collection can be customized by Cyrus for  160 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Dobie and Jacob. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. This item also appears in the RVs of Blathers, Dobie, Jacob, and Pascal.
