The shogi piece is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items.
The shogi piece can be obtained from Gulliver after the player wakes him. It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.

Real-world information
Shogi, also known as Japanese chess, is a two-player strategy board game that originated in Japan. It is played on a 9×9 board, and each player has 20 pieces.
