The post model is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. The player can interact with this item to turn its light on and off.
The post model can be obtained in a letter from the post office after the player saves 999,999,999 Bells. This item can only be obtained once per player. For the purpose of fêng shui, its color is special. This item is lucky, meaning it gives a 777-point Happy Room Academy bonus when placed in the player's house.
No villagers have this item in their home.
Version differences
In Doubutsu no Mori+, the post model has the Japanese postal mark, 〒, above the entrance rather than a window, matching the appearance of the post office in that version of the game. Doubutsu no Mori e+ retains the design from Animal Crossing.
Trivia
- On March 6, 2020, Animal Crossing player BrianMp16 became the first documented person to obtain the post model and the 999,999,999 Bells necessary to obtain it without the use of glitches or cheats.[1][2]
