- "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this."
- — Fortune #35, Animal Crossing: New Leaf
The Master Sword is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is part of the Nintendo Set. This item is based on the Master Sword, a weapon in The Legend of Zelda series—specifically its incarnation in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The Master Sword can be obtained from redeeming fortune #35 to either Timmy or Tommy at their store after eating a fortune cookie.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of W. Link. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.
Trivia
- A promotional screenshot from E3 2011 shows an early version of the Master Sword, using its City Folk design, which is based on the sword's appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. In the final game, the item is based on the sword's appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
