The Town Anniversary (conjectural name[nb 1]) is an event in Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo which celebrates the anniversary of the day the player assumed office as mayor. When the player loads their save file, Isabelle invites them at their doorstep to the event plaza, where the celebration occurs. She gives the player a Sapling Clock.
Non-mayor players will receive a letter from Isabelle, with an attached Sapling Clock.

Trivia
Even if the player whom is Mayor is female, another player in the same town who received the letter from Isabelle about the anniversary, will see that the letter says 'his' instead of 'her'.
