Nookway is the third incarnation of Tom Nook's store. It first appears in Doubutsu no Mori and appears in all subsequent games up to and including Animal Crossing: City Folk. It is a supermarket, featuring more items than its predecessor, Nook 'n' Go. It upgrades to Nookington's.

Super T&T, the third incarnation of Timmy and Tommy's store in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, is similar in appearance to Nookway.

Appearances

In Animal Crossing

Inside Nookway in Animal Crossing

In Animal Crossing, Nookway opens after the player buys or sells 65,000 Bells-worth of items at Nook 'n' Go. It is open from 9 AM to 10 PM. The store sells twenty-five items, including four pieces of furniture, two wallpapers, two carpets, three items of clothing, one umbrella, one Sapling, one Cedar Sapling, four flower bags, two sets of stationery, two tools, one diary, one paint can, and one Sign Board.

Once the player has bought or sold 240,000 Bells-worth of items at Nookway and a player from another town has bought or sold at least one item, it will close and upgrade to Nookington's.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nookway opens after the player buys or sells 65,000 Bells-worth of items at Nook 'n' Go. It is open from 8 AM to 11 PM. The store sells twenty-four items, including five pieces of furniture, two wallpapers, two carpets, one Sapling, one Cedar Sapling, four flower bags, three sets of stationery, four tools, one Medicine, and one Note in a Bottle. Once the player receives a total of 10,000 points from the Tom Nook Point System, they will be mailed a Nookway.

Once the player has bought or sold 240,000 Bells-worth of items at Nookway and a player from another town has bought or sold at least one item, it will close and upgrade to Nookington's. The requirement to have a player from another town visit the store is not present in the Wii U Virtual Console version of Wild World due to the lack of local or online multiplayer support.

The store sells twenty-three items, including four pieces of furniture, two wallpapers, two carpets, one Sapling, one Cedar Sapling, four flower bags, three sets of stationery, four tools,[nb 7] one Medicine, and one paint can. Once the player receives a total of 10,000 points from the Tom Nook Point System, they will be mailed a Nookway.

Once the player has bought or sold 150,000 Bells-worth of items at Nookway and has had the store open for at least twenty-one days, it will close and upgrade to Nookington's. Once Nookington's opens, the player can have it close and reopen as Nookway if they select "Balance" when Tom Nook asks what the look for in their shopping experience.
