Spring Cleaning is an event in Animal Crossing that occurs on the first of May. Tortimer will give a Dump Model to the player. During this time, there are fish-like kites hung up on poles across the town. On this day, villagers might ask the player if they have been cleaning. In the UK version, May 1 is Labour Day and Nook gives the player a model of Nook's Cranny.
