Appearances[edit]
In Doubutsu no Mori+[edit]
During Hinamatsuri in Doubutsu no Mori+, Tortimer will appear near the shrine. If spoken to, he will give the player a lovely phone. In Animal Crossing, this item is instead obtained on Mother's Day.
In City Folk[edit]
Although Hinamatsuri does not appear in Animal Crossing: City Folk, a Girl's Day updo was distributed in Japan via WiiConnect24 in celebration of the event.
In New Leaf[edit]
In Japanese towns in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Isabelle appears in the plaza on Hinamatsuri and will give the player a rice cake if spoken to.
In New Horizons[edit]
Although Hinamatsuri does not appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as a standard event, it appears as a Nook Shopping seasonal event beginning in the 1.8.0 Free Update, for the first time being celebrated internationally.
