The olive flounder is a fish in the Animal Crossing series introduced in Doubutsu no Mori e+. It appears as a large shadow (medium in City Folk, very large in New Horizons) in the sea all day long, all year long. It is very similar in appearance to the dab, another saltwater fish, which is even joked about by the player in its catch quotes in Wild World and New Leaf respectively.
