The chair with cloth (ぞうきんのイス zoukin no isu?) is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori, Doubutsu no Mori+, and Dòngwù Sēnlín. It is part of the School Theme. The player can sit on this item.
The chair with cloth can be obtained from Tom Nook's store for 1,200 Bells.[nb 2] It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.
In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Deena, Doc, and Peaches.
In Doubutsu no Mori+, this item appears in the homes of Deena, Doc, and Peaches.
In Dòngwù Sēnlín, this item appears in the homes of Doc and Peaches.
For villagers who have this item placed on the floor in their house, there is a chance that the villager will gift it to the player.
Version differences
In Dòngwù Sēnlín, the chair with cloth has a different design.
Leftover dummy item
In Animal Crossing, the chair with cloth is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "towel chair" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "silla diseño" in Spanish, "chaise pressing" in French, "Badstuhl" in German, and "sedia da bagno" in Italian.
The item remains unused in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where, as with all dummy items in that game, its name appears as "かぐ?" (kagu?, furniture?) in the player's inventory. However, when dropped on the ground outside, its name from Doubutsu no Mori+ is shown. The item appears as the same dummy model but cannot be placed down in the player's house if in their inventory.
