The Mama polar bear is a customizable furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is part of the Bear Set. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. If this item is placed on the ground however, it is penalized by the Happy Home Academy by 1 point per each item.
The Mama polar bear can be obtained from either Timmy and Tommy's store as a spotlight item for 1,800 Bells or in a letter from Wishy the Star. The item's shirt pattern can be customized by Cyrus for 180 Bells.
This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Chevre, Maple, and Tutu. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.
