The light switch (known as the switch prior to version 1.2.0) is a wall-mounted furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The light switch can be obtained from the upgraded Nook's Cranny for  340 Bells. The item's plate color can be customized by Cyrus at Harv's Island for  1,000 Bells.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is available from the start for use in designing. Bella, Cephalobot, Cobb, Cube, Cyrano, Dom, Ellie, Gonzo, Jacob, Judy, Kitt, Lolly, Merry, Molly, Murphy, Nan, Ozzie, Pippy, Prince, Rosie, Sprocket, and Vivian feature this item in their order list when designing their vacation home. The item is also featured in the order list of the hospital and the school.

Version differences

Prior to version 2.0, the light switch's Silver and Gold variations were named Gray and Brown respectively, and the light switch's Gold variation colors were Brown and Gray.
