The academic painting is a wall-mounted furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 1.2.0 April Free Update. In addition to walls, it can be placed on the floor, being displayed on an easel. As a painting, it can be donated to the museum. It also has a forgery version that cannot be donated or sold.

The academic painting can be obtained from Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler or Redd's Co-Op on Harv's Island for  4,980 Bells or from any villager in the mailbox.
