The king is a customizable furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It is part of the Chess Set.

The king can be obtained from either Timmy and Tommy's store as a spotlight item for  8,000 Bells or in a letter from Wishy the Star. The item's piece color can be customized by Cyrus for  800 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Julian. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

  2. Filly and Holden cannot legitimately move to the player's town via normal gameplay, but a default house layout can be observed via hacking. They share the same housing layout.
