The calligraphy pad is a furniture item in Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items. As a diary, the player can interact with this item to bring up a calendar. The calendar documents events as well as the days the player has played. The player can also add an entry for each month.

The calligraphy pad can be obtained from Nookway or Nookington's for  860 Bells. Due to an oversight in the code used to generate a random diary for Tortimer to give the player on New Year's Day, it is impossible to receive this item from him. It does not have any color for the purpose of fêng shui.
