The toolbox is a furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Leaf introduced in the Welcome amiibo update. It can be placed on the surface of tables and other similar furniture that have surfaces for items.

The toolbox can be obtained from the campground for  5 MEOW Coupons or from balloons. It can also be obtained from the RV of Ike, and Kicks for  3 MEOW Coupons. The item's body color can be customized by Cyrus for  160 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Ike. As a result, this item can be purchased by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers. This item also appears in the RVs of Ike and Kicks.

Notes

  1. Re-Tail sell price; can be sold for 80% of this price ( 320 Bells) at Timmy and Tommy's store
  2. Filly and Holden cannot legitimately move to the player's town via normal gameplay, but a default house layout can be observed via hacking. They share the same housing layout.
