Mother's Day, like in real life, is an event for mothers. In the Animal Crossing series, it usually involves Mom, the unseen mother of the player. The date of the event differs by country.
Events
In Animal Crossing
The player can talk to Tortimer to receive a Lovely Phone.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World
The player will get a piece of mail from Mom. Although Mom requests the player to write back, this is impossible.
In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: New Leaf
The player will receive pink carnations in a letter, similar to receiving a red carnation on Father's Day.
