In Doubutsu no Mori, this item appears in the homes of Pudge, Scoot, and Twirp.

In Doubutsu no Mori+, this item appears in the homes of Pudge, Scoot, and Twirp.

In Dòngwù Sēnlín, this item appears in the homes of Pudge, Scoot, and Twirp.

For villagers who have this item placed on the floor in their house, there is a chance that the villager will gift it to the player.

Version differences

The drink vending machine in Dòngwù Sēnlín

In Dòngwù Sēnlín, the drink vending machine has a different design.

Leftover dummy item

The dummy model used by unused items in Animal Crossing.

In Animal Crossing, the drink vending machine is still leftover in the game data as a dummy item, unobtainable without gameplay modification or glitches. It has the unused name "juice machine" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version of Animal Crossing, with the name "máquina zumos" in Spanish, "presse-agrumes" in French, "Saftpresse" in German, and "distrib. succhi" in Italian.

It remains unused in Doubutsu no Mori e+, where, as with all dummy items in that game, its name appears as "かぐ?" (kagu?, furniture?) in the player's inventory. However, when dropped on the ground outside, its name from Doubutsu no Mori+ is shown. The item appears as the same dummy model but cannot be placed down in the player's house if in their inventory.

Notes

  1. #252 in Doubutsu no Mori; #252 in Doubutsu no Mori+; #249 in Dòngwù Sēnlín
  2. As a standard item available from Tom Nook's store, this item is also available from the following sources: Redd; the dump; shaking trees; gifts from villagers, campers, and Mom; the player's birthday; Wisp; Chip; balloons (if the item's rarity group is rare); and the Lost & Found (if the item's rarity group is common)
