The Taurus bathtub is a houseware furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Stars Series.

The Taurus bathtub can be obtained from crafting, which requires star fragment, Taurus fragment, gold nugget, and stone. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Celeste or from message bottles found on the Star Fragment island via Kapp'n's boat tours.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Elvis and Julian. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Diana, Julian, Pudge, T-Bone, Tipper, and Zell.

In the designing process of Happy Home Paradise, Zell requires this item to be placed in or outside their vacation home.

Description

When giving the Taurus bathtub to Celeste, she will say the following:

"An extraordinarily beautiful princess called Europa was picking flowers with her servants by the sea. She was approached by a lovely white bull that seemed very friendly, so Europa hopped on its back. As she did so, the bull suddenly took off, dashing across the ocean in a most unbull-like way. The bull, it turned out, was the god, Zeus, who had fallen for Europa...but he had trouble with boundaries. The constellation, Taurus, honors the great bull, and Europa herself has a whole continent named for her! But, continent names aside, I imagine Europa would have preferred it if Zeus simply asked her to tea."
