The nova light is a customizable miscellaneous furniture item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Stars Series. As a miscellaneous item, it can be placed on either the ground or on the surfaces of tables and other similar furniture items that have surfaces for items. The player can interact with this item to turn its lighting effect on or off.

The nova light can be obtained from crafting, which requires 5× star fragment. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Celeste or from message bottles found on the Star Fragment island via Kapp'n's boat tours. The item's color can be customized either by using 4 customization kits or by Cyrus at Harv's Island for 3,100 Bells.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Filbert. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Alfonso, Benedict, Cherry, Curlos, Dom, Ione, Judy, Julian, Kevin, Kyle, Pancetti, Phil, Pietro, Rodeo, Roswell, Ruby, Sasha, Timbra, and Victoria.
