The business suitcoat is a top item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The item can be worn by either the player or any villagers.

The business suitcoat can be obtained from the Able Sisters for 1,960 Bells. The item can also be obtained from the apparel shop in Happy Home Paradise for 1,800 Poki if the shop's theme is set to sell "cool clothes" or "simple clothes", or when the store is asked to sell any clothes under the "anything is fine" option.

No villagers wear this item as their default outfit. However, this item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Vesta. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Bitty, Gala, Graham, Monty, Raymond, Simon, and Sydney. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of a villager or the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes.
