Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.11.0 was an update released on July 29, 2021. It features the addition of new seasonal items from Nook Shopping plus new items from Fireworks Show. The update was announced on July 27, 2021.[1]

Nook Shopping seasonal events[edit]
New Nook Shopping seasonal events include the following events:
- To add on to the Moon-Viewing Day Nook Shopping event, the dango and moon cakes were added.
- Obon is celebrated from August 10 to August 16 with an eggplant cow and cucumber horse.
- Chuseok is celebrated from September 12 to September 21 with a songpyeon.
- Day of the Dead is celebrated from October 25 to November 3 with a marigold decoration.
- Lantern Festival is celebrated from November 1 to November 11 with a handheld lantern.
- Shichi-Go-San is celebrated from November 11 to November 20 with a chitose ame.

Halloween is enabled for 2021. Additionally, the 2020 date has become unplayable.
Fireworks Show changes[edit]
12 new handheld food items are now available at the Redd's Raffle.[2]
Halloween changes[edit]
Three new Halloween-themed items are available from Nook's Cranny, from villagers during Halloween, or from crafting during October.
Nook Shopping event changes[edit]
- Cowherd & Weaver Girl Day now last from August 5 to August 14.
- Moon-Viewing Day now last from September 12 to September 21.
Other changes[edit]
- Any physical DIY recipes that are normally obtained through non-physical means (e.g. DIYs in the DIY for Beginners package) can no longer leave with the player when going through the airport. Doing so will cause the DIY recipe to disappear from the player's inventory.[3]

Bug fixes[edit]
- An issue from version 1.11.0 where using the DIY Recipes app sorts each DIY recipe incorrectly when prompting the "Obtained order" sort was fixed.
- An issue from version 1.11.0 where certain items in Harv's Island could not be displayed was fixed.
- An issue from version 1.11.0 where Nook's Cranny could not play a different music track 10 minutes before the shop closed was fixed.
- An issue from version 1.11.0 where clouds would not appear in certain seasons was fixed.[4]
