The Gemini closet is a houseware item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It is part of the Stars Series. As a wardrobe, this item allows the player to change the clothing they are wearing and customize outfits they have stored on their wand.

The Gemini closet can be obtained from crafting, which requires Star Fragment, Gemini Fragment, Gold Nugget, and Stone. The recipe for this item can be obtained from Celeste or from message bottles found on the Star Fragment island via Kapp'n's boat tours.

This item appears as a furniture item in the homes of Julian. As a result, this item has a chance to be purchasable by the player if they were invited by any of the preceding villagers.

In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for Alfonso, Celia, Julian, Pietro, Sasha, Tiffany, and Timbra.

Description

When giving the Gemini closet to Celeste, she will say the following:

"The great god, Zeus, had twin sons named Castor and Pollux, who were both brave warriors. While the brothers were very close and alike in many ways, only Pollux had inherited Zeus's immortality. When Castor eventually died, the grieving Pollux prayed to share his immortality with his brother. Zeus took pity and turned the twins into the constellation, Gemini, so they would always be together. I suppose the lesson of this story is that, occasionally, even Zeus does something for someone else."
