Monkeys are a species of villager introduced in Animal Crossing: Wild World, although they have appeared in every game in Animal Crossing series. They are available from connecting to Nintendo Wi-Fi hubs located in various gaming shops around the world. Monkeys are more readily available in Animal Crossing: City Folk. They are not to be confused with gorillas. In 🎬 Gekijōban Doubutsu no Mori, Champ appeared as a minor character.
