Stereos are the items of furniture that play K.K. Slider's music once the player has transfered the music into one. The player can meet K.K. Slider every Saturday at 8:00 PM in front of the Train Station in Animal Crossing, or in The Roost at the Museum in Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk to get a bootleg copy of a song to transfer onto a stereo. In all Animal Crossing games except New Leaf, the player can get a free tape deck when they move into the town. The type of the stereo doesn't change the music it plays or the sound it makes. To use a Stereo you move the character over in front of it and press A, then choose your choice of music from your supplies screen.
