A mouse is a villager species in the Animal Crossing series. They have fairly pointy heads larger than their small bodies, and large, round ears. Their shirts are long enough that they appear to all be wearing dresses. Many of their names or catchphrases relate to cheese, stereotypically a favorite food of mice.
There are nineteen mouse villagers so far; 11 of these are female, and 8 are male. This makes the mouse a primarily female species. Of the mice, six are peppy, three are snooty, three are jocks, two are cranky, two are lazy, one is smug, and two are normal. There are currently no sisterly mice. Additionally, Carmen, Flossie, Penny, and Chico have not reappeared since Doubutsu no Mori e+.
