Kangaroos are a species of villager in the Animal Crossing series. Out of the eleven, most kangaroo characters are female, and all females have joeys in their pouches. The joeys in their pouches will move their mouths the same time their mother does, as well as other motions while showing the same emotions (mad, sad, etc.). All female kangaroos' initial catchphrases relate to their baby. For example, Kitt's initial catchphrase is "child," and Mathilda's is "wee baby."
