The saddled bichir (エンドリケリー, Endorikerī) is a freshwater fish introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It appears as a large shadow in rivers from 9 PM - 4 AM from summer to early fall, and sells for 4,000 Bells.
The saddled bichir is one of two fish introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf that can only be caught from 9 PM to 4 AM, the other being the blowfish. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it is now one of four fish to be caught exclusively in that time frame, along with the returning blowfish, as well as the newly introduced snapping turtle and barreleye.
