As a snooty villager, Blanche will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She may also talk about the style and appearance of other villagers, usually other female villagers such as normal, peppy, and other snooty villagers. She will soon warm up to the player, confiding in them about their own feelings, but still subtly rude. She will find it hard to get along with other villagers, specifically jock and lazy villagers who have conflicting lifestyles with her own. She may get on with cranky villagers, who also enjoy gossiping about the appearance and lifestyles of others. | As a snooty villager, Blanche will first appear rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. Trivia[edit]
- The clothing in Blanche's New Horizons house and her loom-themed house request in Happy Home Paradise allude to the Japanese folklore Tsuru no Ongaeshi (White Crane's Return of Favor). In a popular version of the story, a white crane is rescued from a trap by an elderly couple. It takes the form of a woman and works as a weaver at the couple's house in return of the favor. Later, the old man peeked into her workplace, only to find a crane weaving with its own feathers. Upon the revelation of the secret, the crane parted with the old couple and flew away.
- Similarly, Gladys, another white ostrich, contains a loom and clothing-related items inside of her New Leaf and New Horizons houses, has a loom as an unlock item for her Happy Home Designer and Happy Home Paradise house requests, and has a loom as a crafting request item in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
