Makoto Wada (和田 誠 Wada Makoto) is a script writer at Nintendo.
Wada joined Nintendo in 1986, and in the early days, he was character designer and director of the Punch-Out!! and StarTropics series at Nintendo Research & Development No. 3. Around 2000, he transferred to Nintendo EAD, especially the Animal Crossing team, and has been involved as a script writer for all the series since the first installment, except for Wild World and City Folk. For instance, he is notable for writing the Japanese version of Mr. Resetti's dialogues.
