The flowery painting is a painting in the Animal Crossing series introduced in Doubutsu no Mori. It is based on one of the paintings in Vincent van Gogh's Sunflower series, painted in August of 1888 and currently held at the National Gallery, London. The painting is one of two van Gogh pieces to appear in the Animal Crossing series, alongside the twinkling painting.
