Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.10.0 – Free Update
Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.10.0 was an update released on April 28, 2021. It features the return of previously available events from 2020, as well as the addition of new seasonal items from Nook Shopping. The update was announced on April 26, 2021.[1]

Nook Shopping seasonal events[edit]
New Nook Shopping seasonal events include the following events:
- To add on to the Mother's Day Nook Shopping event, the carnations was added.
- To add on to the Father's Day Nook Shopping event, the thank-you Dad apron was added.
- Children's Day is celebrated from April 28 to May 5 with a carp banner and a newsprint helmet.
- Cheese Rolling is celebrated from May 22 to May 31 with a double Gloucester cheese.
- Wedding Season is celebrated from June 1 to June 30 with a nuptial bell, nuptial doorplate, nuptial ring pillow, and flower-petal basket.
- The Dano Festival is celebrated from June 5 to June 14 with a surichwi tteok.
- The Dragon Boat Festival and is celebrated from June 5 to June 14 with a festival zongzi.
- Marine Day is celebrated from July 8 to July 22 with a ship-wheel door decoration.
- Le 14 juillet is celebrated from July 10 to July 20 with a Phrygian cap.

Changed features[edit]
Event changes[edit]
May Day, International Museum Day, and Wedding Season are enabled for 2021. Additionally, the 2020 dates have become unplayable.
May Day changes[edit]
This event now lasts two extra days, from April 29 to May 7. The island layout has been changed. Rover will give his photo to the player if they also received his briefcase.
International Museum Day changes[edit]
Stamps rallies for the art exhibit are now featured.
Wedding Season changes[edit]
The shiromuku, tsunokakushi, and white hakama with crest are available at the Able Sisters during the Wedding Season.
Nook Shopping event changes[edit]
- The Summer Solstice and Winter Solstice Nook Shopping events now occur from June 15 to June 21 and December 15 to December 21.
- International Children's Day now lasts from June 1 to June 15.
- Tanabata now lasts from July 1 to July 7.
- Cowboy Festival now lasts from July 15 to August 15.

- A promotional screenshot for Children's Day featured on the Japanese announcement article for the update featured a player standing next to a villager's house that does not match that of any villager. The screenshot was changed the day after the announcement to one of a player inside a house, and a note was added apologizing for the inaccuracy in the original.[1]
