The Tropical Cut-and-Sew Tank is a top item in Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduced in the 2.0 Free Update. The item can be worn by either the player or any villagers.
The Tropical Cut-and-Sew Tank can be obtained from Able Sisters during the summer. The item can also be obtained from the apparel shop in Happy Home Paradise for 
440 Poki if the shop's theme is set to sell "loose clothes" or "simple clothes", or when the store is asked to sell any clothes under the "anything is fine" option. It is also available in the apparel shop during DJ KK's music festival.
No villagers wear this item as their default outfit.
In Happy Home Paradise, this item is unlocked for use in designing when doing a vacation home request for 
Kyle. In addition, the item can be used to change the clothing of a villager or the player either during or after the designing process for screenshot purposes. Villagers who have had houses designed for them will also sometimes wear all variations of this item alongside Tropical Turbans during DJ KK's music festivals.
