Rosie (ブーケ, Buuke, Bouquet) is a peppy cat. She appears in all games in the Animal Crossing series. She also appears in 🎬 Gekijōban Doubutsu no Mori. Rosie will appear friendly, excitable, and hospitable towards other villagers and the player. She is also a very popular symbol, as she appears on many game covers and has merchandise based on her appearance.
Appearance
Rosie is a blue cat with dark blue hair and fur. Her blue fur sometimes looks purple in the evening. She has big black eyes and has some light pink blush on her cheeks (hence her name). She has white tips on her paws, tail, feet, and ears. The insides of her ears transition from pink to light pink. She appears to have no nose, but she does have a curly smile. Her original shirt is a Dazed Shirt sequenced in pink, purple, magenta, and beige in a diagonal checkerboard design. On rainy days, she carries a mint gingham umbrella.
Personality
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
Rosie is a peppy villager, which means she will appear over-excited to see the player and most other villagers. Like all peppy villagers, she will appear childish and immature, usually asking the player for items they want. She will enjoy the usual hobbies and will tell the player that when she is bug catching, she is looking for a particular bug that may look nice in her home. She will get along well with other villagers, particularly the lazy, normal and other peppy villagers, but she may annoy and upset cranky and snooty villagers who are known to appear older than other villagers. Due to the honest nature of peppy villagers, she may mention how "old" or "boring" they are due to her opposing, upbeat personality. She will easily get upset in conversation when it is not going her way, but will forget ever having the conversation due to her short attention span.
In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Rosie may have a conversation with another peppy villager which goes as follows; "Hey, we are so totally alike!", "Yeah together we can take over this town! I'll be the cute one and you'll be the funny one." "No, I'm the cute one!" "No, I am!" "Well, go get a cute-lift!" This will result in both peppy villagers walking off angry. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future and reads Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by peppy and snooty villagers in Wild World which they will mention having questionnaires in which they will ask the player for the opinion.
House
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, Rosie's house has no real theme, just furniture and stuff that never stays on topic, reflecting her upbeat and hyper personality. She has a Green Counter, Grapefruit Table and a Kitschy Clock. She also has a Retro Stereo that plays "Rockin' K.K." She also has a Blue Table, Red Sofa, Claw-Foot Tub, Gas Pump, Sandbag, and a Snowboard in her house. She has Mod Wall and a Cowhide Rug.
