Rio is a peppy ostrich villager in the Animal Crossing series. She appears in Doubutsu no Mori, Animal Crossing, Doubutsu no Mori e+, and returns in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

In New Horizons, Rio has the music hobby and may sing anywhere without the need of a stereo.

Appearance

Rio is a hot-red ostrich with orange stars on her cheeks, a little bit of brown hair on her head and a multicolored tail. She also wears purple eye shadow, making her resemble a snooty villager, even though she is instead a peppy villager.

Rio is a peppy villager which means she will appear excited and cheerful when talking to the player and other villagers. She will get along with other peppy villagers, normal villagers, and jock villagers, but may be the plot for some false information or gossip by snooty and cranky villagers.
