All other discussions regarding the wiki are held at the The Roost and our Discord server. Resolved reports and issues from the Staff Noticeboard can be found here. User reports Reports about an editor's behavior (e.g. vandalism or spam) should be made in the section below, specifying the username or IP address of the editor involved and details about the incident. Other issues All other issues requiring staff attention (e.g. requests for page protection, revision deletion, user demotions, username change requests, etc.) should be posted in the other issues section.

Report from Acnh Player

Report! User:Lexy is vandalizing pages. The Animal crossing new horizons page. Also, they logged out of their account and added their name to my staff application here. Here is how I know that it is them logged out. They signed the comment with lexy's signature, while they were logged out. Acnh Player (talk) 19:31, April 16, 2024 (EDT)

This is not vandalism; vandalism is a deliberate act to harm the wiki. It is always best to assume good faith, and given that this user is new, it is likely that they were unfamiliar with the rules. Report from Acnh Player

This ip address called 2601:600:c400:6d80:b9c5:bb47:8da:b254 atempted to vandalize the page Environment rating. Proof: Special:AbuseLog. They attempted repetition. I think the staff should block the IP from doing more damage. Acnh Player (talk) 13:57, May 27, 2024 (EDT)

Report from Super Mario World

It looks as though Acnh Player (talk | contribs | logs) made this edit when his user page has the same vacation template. He likely is ban evading. Should staff take a look? Super Mario World 10:11, June 21, 2024 (EDT)

In this case, we couldn't prove that it was him. We also have to consider the possibility that it could have been an impersonator. Drago (talk) 13:31, June 22, 2024 (EDT)

Acnh Player edited this block template changing the date from June 22 to June 21, (see page history for reason why) and had gotten into an edit war over someone else over it. Is this something he shouldn’t have done? Super Mario World

Don't worry, the whole situation is being discussed since it seems to have escalated quickly. Edit warring is definitely not acceptable user behavior (as outlined in policy) so please do report if you see another edit war talking place. Thanks! Drago (talk) 11:38, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

My question was more about editing block templates and less about edit warring, given that no staff members have reverted back his changes Super Mario World 12:31, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

This is only my opinion, but if there's an obvious mistake on the block template, I don't think there's anything wrong with a non-staff member correcting it. I'm not sure that there was an obvious mistake here, but Acnh Player may have been in a different time zone, causing the confusion. Drago (talk)

Report from Super Mario World

I can’t really provide much evidence but any usernames related to Animal Crossing or Nookipedia (such as NookipediaCrossing) suspiciously sounds like a sock of Acnh Player given that many usernames he made on Wikipedia are related to Nookipedia or Animal Crossing, and he seems obsessed with editing Nookipedia. Loading issues

Autoblock issues--Acnh Player

I had this issue today. Today was the day I was going to be unbanned, and when I clicked "edit", it said "This IP address has automatically been blocked." This was so annoying. I looked at both the block list and log, and my contributions page, and my block has expired. However the autoblock wouldn't expire for another 9 hours. So I had to wait for a million years and finally I am editing again. Is there a way for this to be fixed? Please see this image to see what I am talking about. I'll ask the other staff about it; it's a problem that I've noticed before with autoblocks still being around even after the original block has expired. I should also note that most wikis have these blocks expiring after 24 hours, but a decision was made to increase them on Nookipedia to a week (which makes this issue more noticeable.) Discord ban

Hello again. I got banned on Nookipedia's discord about a month ago along with my block on Nookipedia. Now that the block has expired, can I be unbanned on Nookipedia's discord? Acnh Player (talk) 03:39, July 2, 2024 (EDT)

You were banned because you are underaged. You need to be 13 in order to use the service.

Coupled with your immature behavior spreading on our Discord, and I do not see a reason why we should remove your Discord ban. -- PanchamBro (talk • contributions) 08:55, July 2, 2024 (EDT)
