- It's a valid block. Hingy's vandalism was creating pages. Those pages are now deleted, which is why you don't see them on the contributions page. You can see the logs for the page creations at Special:Log/Hingy. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 01:37, March 25, 2024 (EDT)

- That's fine - it's a commonly used abbreviation that is not particularly egregious or disruptive. - I wouldn't exactly call their edits vandalism - while their edits aren't productive, vandalism is a deliberate act to harm the wiki.
- That being said, Iloveanimalcrossing2024 hasn't edited the wiki since March 4. Blocking is used to prevent active, ongoing disruption, which is not a concern here. If Iloveanimalcrossing2024 resumes making edits that need to be reverted, they would likely be warned first before being blocked. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 02:34, March 26, 2024 (EDT)

It is always best to assume good faith, and given that this user is new, it is likely that they were unfamiliar with the rules. Acnh Player edited this block template changing the date from June 22 to June 21, (see page history for reason why) and had gotten into an edit war over someone else over it. Is this something he shouldn’t have done? Super Mario World

- This is only my opinion, but if there's an obvious mistake on the block template, I don't think there's anything wrong with a non-staff member correcting it. I'm not sure that there was an obvious mistake here, but Acnh Player may have been in a different time zone, causing the confusion. Drago (talk)

I can’t really provide much evidence but any usernames related to Animal Crossing or Nookipedia (such as NookipediaCrossing) suspiciously sounds like a sock of Acnh Player given that many usernames he made on Wikipedia are related to Nookipedia or Animal Crossing, and he seems obsessed with editing Nookipedia. Idk why I have my suspicions but Harry Potter appears to be a sock of Acnh Player given that his infobox is done in a similar way and he seems to act like a staff member. - I renamed you to "BigAmongUsAwesomeGuyCool." The other name is too long, and the character limit is eventually going to be lowered so that users can't create names that long again. - Per our policy, users can be renamed, at most, once every six months. Your last account (Charmander7) was last renamed in April, and you also effectively got an additional "rename" by creating a new account. - Per the block policy: Vandalism is the insertion of inappropriate, seemingly random, or deliberately incorrect information into pages, while spam involves the posting of promotional material encouraging users to visit another web address (often unrelated to Nookipedia).
- So vandalism is basically any deliberate bad edit to a page, while spam occurs when users come here to advertise their products or services (instead of being here to contribute to Nookipedia). Hope this helps! Drago (talk) 13:36, March 25, 2024 (EDT)

Autoblock issues--Acnh Player
I had this issue today. Today was the day I was going to be unbanned, and when I clicked "edit", it said "This IP address has automatically been blocked." This was so annoying. I looked at both the block list and log, and my contributions page, and my block has expired. However the autoblock wouldn't expire for another 9 hours. So I had to wait for a million years and finally I am editing again. Is there a way for this to be fixed? Please see this image to see what I am talking about. - I'll ask the other staff about it; it's a problem that I've noticed before with autoblocks still being around even after the original block has expired. I should also note that most wikis have these blocks expiring after 24 hours, but a decision was made to increase them on Nookipedia to a week (which makes this issue more noticeable.)
