Nindori is a jock ostrich villager in Doubutsu no Mori e+. He can only move to the player's town if his e-Reader card, which was exclusively distributed by Nintendo Dream magazine, is scanned. Nindori was created as part of a collaboration with Japanese gaming magazine Nintendo Dream.[citation needed] His name is directly derived from Nintendo Dream, which is often abbreviated as Nindori. He later went on to become the magazine's mascot, separate from the Animal Crossing series, and became officially known as Nindori-kun.
