Villager (むらびと, Murabito) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
On June 11, 2013, Nintendo revealed their new Super Smash Bros. video game for the 3DS and Wii U at E3 2013, showcasing three new characters, one being the player character in the Animal Crossing series - the "Villager."[1]
On May 16, 2014, three new character alts were revealed for the Villager, including two female skins.
Appearance
The default male Villager is a boy with brown hair, wearing the No. 1 Shirt. This is the same appearance as the male player on the cover of Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Moveset
The Villagers' Special moves are detailed below.
The Neutral Special, Pocket, makes the Villager reach his or her hand out, being able to store enemy projectiles or items in their pockets. Using the move again afterwards will make them throw the stored projectile, or drop the item, opening up many possible strategies.
The Lloid Rocket is the Side Special. Using it once will shoot out a gyroid, namely Lloid, sending him flying straight, exploding among contact. Pressing the button twice has the Villager mount on Lloid as a method of horizontal recovery.
Balloon Trip is the Up Special, which gears the Villager with the balloon-strapped helmet worn by the player characters from Balloon Fight, able to fly by flapping the arms. However, if an opponent manages to pop both of the balloons, the Villager will be left in a helpless state.
The Down Special, Timber, has three steps. First, a sapling is planted with a shovel. After that, the sapling is watered with a watering can, growing the sapling into an adult tree. After two swipes of an axe, the tree will be chopped down, crushing whoever stands under the trunk.
And for the Final Smash, Dream Home, Tom, Timmy, and Tommy Nook appear, and the Villager pays off the mortgage, handing over a bag of Bells to Tom Nook. He and his nephews will proceed to building the new home, with the opponents trapped inside. Once the house had been completed, celebration follows, until the house explodes soon after, sending the fighters (and the Nooks) flying.

Villager (Alt.)
Description | Just a normal girl living a normal life in a normal town - her special moves, however, are anything but. She can pocket items, projectiles, and even beams, and then pull them out at a moment's notice. Her down special lets her plant a tree, water it, and chop it down. If she leaves the tree standing, she can use the axe against foes. | |
