Golden tools are upgraded versions of tools found in the Animal Crossing series. Each tool is better than the regular tools and silver tools, but are harder to obtain. Tools that can be found golden include the Axe, Fishing Rod, Net, Shovel, Slingshot, and Watering Can.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, golden tools are breakable, unlike previous games. However, they are significantly more durable than regular or flimsy tools. Golden tools are made via DIY, with each requiring the regular version of said tool and a single Gold Nugget in order to craft them.
